When I was first asked to take on the roles of admin, event manager, and co-creative director for Black Country Portrait Events I saw an incredible opportunity to shape a modeling organisation that supports both new and experienced models. Now, I’m excited to share what this journey looks like behind the scenes, how I help bring our events to life, and what you can expect from our upcoming events.

Taking on Multiple Roles in a Modeling Organisation

Being part of a modeling company means wearing many hats. For me, that includes handling all the administrative tasks, editing, casting & voicing bts content and brainstorming event ideas alongside the owner. I also manage ticket sales and coordinate event logistics.

Here’s a quick look at what my day to day involves:

  • Admin work: keeping track of event details.

  • Content editing: Polishing posts and promotional materials to make sure they’re clear and engaging.

  • Event planning: Collaborating on creative concepts and themes for upcoming events.

  • Ticket management: Setting up ticket sales and monitoring availability.

  • Community engagement: Responding to questions and encouraging participation from models and creatives.

  • Casting: I put out casting for models and other creatives we need for these events.

This variety keeps me on my toes and allows me to contribute to the modeling organisation in meaningful ways.

Upcoming Events You Don’t Want to Miss

We have some exciting events lined up that offer fantastic modeling opportunities. These events are designed to help models build their portfolios, network with industry professionals, and gain experience in a supportive environment.

  • Rockabilly Event – 15th February 2026

  • Elements Event – 1st March 2026

Tickets are limited, so make sure to grab yours early. Models attend for free, which makes it a great chance to get involved without any cost.

What We’re Looking for in Our Team

To make these events even better, we’re currently searching for talented stylists, makeup artists (MUAs), and hairdressers. If you have skills in any of these areas and want to work with a passionate modeling organisation, please reach out to me or contact the Black Country Portrait Events page directly.

Working with us means:

  • Collaborating on creative projects.

  • Gaining exposure in the local modeling scene.

  • Building connections with models and photographers.

If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’re always eager to welcome new talent.

Why These Events Matter for Models

Our events are more than just photo shoots. They’re designed to help models:

  • Build strong portfolios with high-quality images.

  • Network with photographers, stylists, and other models.

  • Gain confidence in front of the camera.

  • Explore different styles and themes in a supportive setting.

By focusing on the Black Country and surrounding areas, we create opportunities close to home. This makes it easier for models to participate and grow their careers without traveling far.

How to Get Involved

Getting involved is simple. Keep an eye on our social media pages and website for ticket releases and event updates. Remember:

  • Models attend for free.

  • Tickets are limited.

  • Early booking is recommended to secure your spot.

If you want to suggest ideas for future events or have questions about the roles we’re hiring for, feel free to contact me directly.
